The last few years has shown a growing trend in couples either renting fancy, vintage furniture or finding pieces themselves to reupholster to keep.
I was recently involved in upcycling a pair of chairs for a bride to be. Her future mother-in-law found a pair of chairs and I was able to beget this specific vision for them! I primed & painted the wood with metallic gold and reupholstered them in a heavy emerald green velvet. Not used just for the bridal portraits, they were also used at the wedding reception as the bride & groom's seating. The perfect chairs for the wedding day became a great addition to their home decor as well. A gift like this is priceless by creating lasting memories! |
