I love reconstructing smaller chairs and this is a perfect example of what can happen to the old bones of a forgotten chair.
Vintage grain sacks were used to recreate a fabulous find. Using different style sacks with the same color stripe, this client was upcycling this chair to sell at her shop. The back was left deconstructed. As long as the chair is solid and isn't loose in the bones, anything can be made of an arm chair. Tacks are just those carpet tacks bought at hardware stores. I make a template and make pencil marks to get somewhat of an even tacking line. |

Christine LindsayHaving found my calling as a sewologist & design consultant many years ago, I am in a place where I want to share my passion for interior renewal. I create and recreate updated style with fabrics and hope to inspire others to do the same. I am fortunate enough to be doing what I love and want to share it, one home at a time. ![]() Sister Blog
