I created this upholstered cornice that was patterned after a headboard I discovered in a magazine. If you flip those headboard inspirations over, you can definitely find a future cornice. Black with a zebra striped cording, this window treatment blends perfectly with this girl's taste.
The tufted headboard was originally an ottoman found at a local thrift store. All we did was remove the legs and attach it to the wall with brackets. Bargains are one thing, but upcycling one thing into another, without working hard for it, is even better. The gathered, drop coverlet was created from sheets that were used for the cornice also. Super fun at bargain prices.
A simple space accented with finds from Home Goods, black & white paint and a mom who is a willing to let her daughter enjoy her personal style.
